Power = Torque times angular velocity. Therfore

Torque = Power / Angular velocity

The problem comes down to using the proper units. Convert hp to watts, rpm to radians per second and do the calculation to get torque in N-m

A motor is at maximum toque at maximum slip ( at point of burning out)
