Many times to all of the above, although i have been able to see the bright side of things and with an objective look got experience from must of my heart-breaks, there is only one that I still cannot forget, that every time I look at the stars, I can't help but wonder if she may be doing the same thing, and also thinking of me, somewhere out there, and then I sigh and come to reality and know that she may not even remember me, or remember all those times we spent together making plans, that now I know where only castles in the air. Liese if you read this, go back in time to where we first met, at the reception, when I thought that one day I was going to own the world, and then set it at your feet, when I tried to bring a bunch of stars down to make you a necklace. Ahhh the memories.

Of course! I think we all have to some point. Some more, some less. Any time we give our hearts we take that risk. We think that the person we love returns our gift with the same strong unfailing feelings. Alas they were just playing and we get terribly hurt and betrayed. Some times our friends who we stand by and love without question, say and do hurtful things and we are crushed. We can't believe they would do that, but they do and we never can forgive them.
When I was young I thought love was for ever, now I know it can be just for tonight, two weeks or never. It shocks me that I can still love some one, when they don't love me and never will.

fell in love: absolutely and brutally. head over heels in love... but he fell out and i stayed and havent exactly fallen out yet.
been betrayed: well lets see... about a week after he ended things with me he was seeing another girl. and when that ended he came back to me saying he was sorry and stupid. and i forgave him, of course... before learning two weeks later he was with someone new.
realized the truth with total shock: i know he is wrong for me and i know i need to cut him out of my life. and just last night, i realized that i can live without him. and i can be happy without him, and i can go through a day without thinking about him. and no matter how much it hurts, you'll eventually see yourself moving on, and finding people that make you feel worthwhile again, that make you want to live again. and life goes on.

Yes I guess so.
See to me love has always been a big betrayal such that I always realise that it was around when I lose it.
Love itself is the very betrayal.
And missing it is shockful and it hurts.
