As the saying goes, "The ditch-digger dig the ditch to earn money to buy food to give him strength to dig the ditch."
The government can't operate without taxes. Our taxes are used to build schools for our children, to pay teachers to educate our children, to pay police officers to bring and keep peace around us, to pave our roads, to build hospitals, to pay public doctors and nurses, to pay for tax collectors and so on and so forth. Taxes are collected to maintan the government's existence to perform these ministerial duties.

That is a lie, it is the corrupt governments way of inslaving you, they are taking away money from you, your money to do things they want to do. All taxes are started for a "good" reason and then never stopped. Like the tax on Whisky, it was started to pay for the civil war, then never stopped. We pay over 78 % taxes now when you include everyting... learn about this, google and youtube this, find out how your vote can save our country vote for ron paul

Taxes, though they may seem cruel, are the actual blood life of the country. It is through taxes that the govt. is able to give us facilities to use, such as roads, public schools etc.
They pay for the salaries of the public servants such as the govt. officials ETC.
