Okay. Do a story about a strange man who moves into town and carries a knife with him all the time. So then people think he might be a murderer, but it turns out that he's a fisherman and uses the knife to prepare fish. So he seemed FISHY at first, but then it turned out that he was just a fishy guy.

You want a short story about something that's fishy? Asking someone else to write the short story is a little fishy... I'm wondering why we don't even have the start of a short story on something using the idiom 'fishy.' How come?
I met a man once who said he had a patent medicine that would make me relax, make me know when to call it quits on the YA site, a thing I often find very hard to know. I thought the man was a little fishy, mainly because he looked so tired himself... but then I decided that he looked like that because he was so relaxed. However when he told me the price of the medicine, which was very high, I regarded him again as a fishy character, out to rob me of my hard-earned dough. He saw my expression and immediately cut the price in half, which was what I hoped for. I bought the medicine, and I took the prescribed amount an hour ago, and I am still typing away at the YA site, not feeling relaxed at all. Well, not much... I love to write! However, now I know that the man was fishy after all, and I've come off the loser. Wide awake with no wise answers for anyone.

There was something fishy about that accident my mother muttered
I hardly was aware of that... all of the suddent , I stood up and thought ... that`s why they prevented me to see what was inside the coffin.
They acted strange and overreacted any time someone wanted to render ones respect to the friend who had passed away in such a way.
Yeah, now I was sure there was something fishy and I was to look for a path to come true.
This could be a helping hand on it

fish (n.)
O.E. fisc, from P.Gmc. *fiskaz (cf. O.H.G. fisc, O.N. fiskr, Du. vis, Ger. Fisch, Goth. fisks), from PIE *piskos (cf. L. piscis). The verb is O.E. fiscian. Fishy "shady, questionable" is first recorded 1840, perhaps from the notion of "slipperiness," or of giving off an intrusive odor. Fish story attested from 1819, from the tendency to exaggerate the size of the catch (or the one that got away). Fishtail (v.), of vehicles, first recorded 1927. Fig. sense of fish out of water first recorded 1613.
So write a story about a Fisherman who catches a fish, and when he guts it, he find the fish has swallowed a diamond bracelet. He goes immeadiately from his boat to try and pawn the bracelet, but because he smells bad and the unclean bracelet is still slimy from fish guts, nobody will believe his story and he ends up in jail for stealing the jewelry.
