Look, it's good that you even ask this! Moving to a new school is HELL. Anybody would tell you that I think. It means that you are in a crappy situation. It's not you. If your not a cheerleader, jock, thug, rich kid etc where you get instant recognition then it sucks. It takes time to make friends. Years sometimes! High school is a bad place. Adults are disconnected and most kids are jerks. Really. The thing to do is be strong. Don't like eating along? Go out back and chill out under a tree. Those girls? It may make you want to throw up....but one day, just say "F**k you, *****." That teacher? Find him or her during lunch and insist they tell you their personal philosophy. Take care of yourself. Screw those other people. Lift weights. Go running. You don't have to be good at sports to have a strong healthy body. Bottom line kid it is OK to be on your own. In high school it's a bunch of scared people (scared as you) trying to team up and put others down. No matter what, use those smarts, and get some good grades. Above all else. But socially? Be a rebel. Don't let anyone put you down. And when you're scared, walk on by. Even if you shake. Be an individual, and some cool people will notice eventually. They will. Eventually you will get used to the school....and if you have to move again? get a GED quick and get into college with your smarts. People are cooler there.

I have to sit by a bunch of nerds except for two people. Im in GT with them but im in sports and not into all the learning things like them. These are the kinda people that wear thier socks pulled up as high as they possibly can and talk in math equations. The only 2 people i like that i sit by are emo, like me, and in GT too but not losers like the people we have to sit by.
I hate where the principle makes us sit during lunch.
yeah it's assighned seating

Whoever wanted to sit with me. Generally (especially during my senior year of high school) I was a loner. I've always been a bit more introverted with the masses. With my friends I'm more outgoing.

Most of the time, nobody. I'd find a spot where nobody was at and eat i peace. Sometimes on rare occasions I would sit with random classmates.

I sat with my friends that were against the so called "valley girl accent". They are pretty cool to hang out with, and we gave ourselves weird nicknames, but they go with our personality.

Friendly easy going girls. Laughed during food being thrown. Oh the memories.
