This guy called because my dad's cell phone number was on his girlfreind's phone, I tried to reason with him but he is convinced my dad is with his girlfreind! He didn't want to understand that my dad is 75! the worst part is that the guy knows our address! I don't know what to do! my dad said not to call the police but I don't know!
I think the guy was drunk, but I am still worried!
(Please, if you are just going to try to post something in an attempt to be funny, DON'T, I only need serious answers because I am DEAD serious about this!)

i think.. first you need to calm down
and then take a deep breath.
and if you really really really think that this guy is not a prank caller and he's dead serious.
no matter what your father says you should call 9 11.. and tell them the situation
then after you call 9 1 1 leave your house and go to a friend's house or another relative's house so you can be safe.

If your dad is 75 and the guy says he has the address, call the cops so they can at least watch out for you. Ya never know. Good luck to ya. Keep a log of what he says and any info you can, to give the cops and/or court if it ever comes to it. It'll be alright but I would let someone know. If you don't know this guy's #, the cops can probably get it from the phone company. Never hurts to ask.

I am sorry to say that I do not agree with listening to your father (just this one time) when there is real danger, you must call the authorities. If you are wrong and the guy does nothing...no big deal..that is why we pay taxes. But if you are right, then how glad you will be that you called the police...right?

What u should do is have your dad change his number and seriously, tell him this is a very bad situation and that he needs to call the police because they can fix this problem!

Call the cops. They can guard your house for the night or move you to a safe place for the night. If your big enough to take him on then lock the doors and wait.

call the cops,lock your doors,get some weapon to defend your self with,have an escape route,and run away and try and hitch hike to the police station!
