It's, undeniably, a romantic thought!

Good question.

If these aren't good, by the way I measure good, and I can't go forward in time, the answer has to be "Yes, of course".
The fact that the other days are 'old' doesn't matter--the point is they were good."

But if I liked the present, which I don't, and I still considered the "good old days", as perhaps a better choice, then I'd have to think very carefully as to how certain I could be that they'd be enough better to induce me to leave the present. I could be wrong about the relative difference.

Sad as you think things are right now these eventually will become the good old days for the kids coming up in this day. But I would love to go back to the 70's and 80's and kick it up!

You have learn't what you had to learn back in the good old days, so going or returning back to then, you would probably find boring as things are never the same when you go back. You should always move forward in life and by doing this you are growing wiser.

These will be the good old days in the years ahead.

Make the most of them.

The good old days always seem better then they really were, we are now in the good old days of the future, so enjoy.

Absolutely -- but only if I could keep the knowledge I've gained having made the many mistakes in my life. It wouldn't do any good to just "start over" from scratch, because I'd probably just make the same mistakes all over again.

There were no good old days. All the days are the same. Things have always been crappy just less news worthy.
