well firstly i don't think he was gay, yeah he had ten thousand men, ok so he took them on a march, he knew when they were erect, flacid or semi aroused, omg he was gay wasn't he!!..knowing their arousal levels and gay pride marches..well i still don't know the answer to the question but thanks to this sudden realisation of his sexual orientation i'm guessing there are ten thousand men who could tell you if he knew when he was coming..mind you this is why god made wee yellow and semen white you know..so an irishman can tell whether he's coming or going..mmm was the grand old duke of york part irish??!! lol

I think he knew he was coming when he was coming, and going when he was going, he just didn't know whether to come or to go.
