Three bone have zygomatic processes:
The zygomatic bone is predominant, but the frontal and temporal bones have zymomatic processes as well

You are talking about the actual zygomatic bone. One zygomatic processes connects the zygomatic bone to other bones in the skull (Mostly in the lateral orbit of the eye). The other connects the zygomatic bone to the temporal bone. This is more commonly refered to as the zygomatic arch. It is made from two bones, the zygomatic bone and the temporal bone.

I believe it is on the temporal bone but isn't it also a part of the maxilla?
