I have been driving my 04' jetta for about two days now and i started driving it tonight after doing some mods that dont affect the engine to much but it starts to shake below 3000 rpms and i have no clue why. if anyone has an idea let me know cause this is really upsetting.

I suspect something's wrong with the air2fuel ratio, maybe you're running lean. If you want some VW-specific advice, look in the forum below. They have been a lifesaver. Also, pulling the codes would help greatly in knowing what's wrong.

what do u mean shake? like the whole car shaking? because if that's the case, then u might have to do some re-modding on ur suspension system (if u happened to mod ur suspensions also, then yeah, its the suspension lol), and ur tire heights. maybe check out ur stiffness on the suspensions also.

shaking ,you got to check wires(if they are conected to the spark)when you have some electric problem in your car ,it makes that shaking thing, or if you are driving ,and the car starts to shake .it could be what the mecanic calls a balance in the tire,in my case was a wire.
