hi!! M l, right now of the three hundred and sixty 5 days it does no longer harm to end feeding your birds because of the fact there is an abundance of their organic foodstuff around. you could desire to place slightly out for the track chook, in basic terms wild chook seed. while you're on the city you will no longer see many starlings, they have long gone rural the place there is extra of the grubs and worms on hand. numerous the different small birds, wag tails, finches, robins, will now be eating small bugs, and the thrushes, and blackbirds feed on the better bugs and worms. What you're able to do to assist now could be to place out products of something that they'd line a nest with, hair , wool, etc. which will help a great deal. In some weeks time make beneficial there are no longer any peanuts approximately because of the fact the nestings can choke on them. i desire this would help you.

People feed birds for their own enjoyment, not for the welfare of the birds. Birdwatching is a huge hobby, but many people are not able to afford binoculars and spotting scopes and pricey eco-tours, so they settle for attracting the birds in their yard, where they can observe them in the comfort of their own home, at a much lower cost factor than going out into the field to birdwatch.

Because they're beautiful to watch and it helps them out when they're raising young. It does not make them dependent on people.I've fed them for many, many years and there have been periods when I've stopped. The birds then seek food elsewhere and return when I replenish the feeders. They aren't stupid, they know where to find food without our help.

You shouldn't feed them, especially seagulls. They just poop everywhere and it's nasty for children to play in all that crap.
I am so sick of geese...can't believe people would rather protect those filthy things and walk along the shorelines with crap stuck between their toes than to banish them for good.
