Because an ant is very small, which means it would have a lower terminal velocity (which is the point when the drag force is equal to the weight minus the force caused by the air) than a human.

A friend of mine had a pet mouse that got out of his cage and fell out of the window, which was on the 12th floor, and survived.

Nah, the ant would be nice. they have dropped ants from homes earlier, and that they have got been nice, and the ant would have reached terminal speed by ability of then so a airplane would be no distinctive in speed, in basic terms in time interior the air. it rather is weight is so low that it does not weigh down itself at terminal speed. Did you ever see that commerical the place they drop the ant from the appropriate an an section and there are people on the floor and that they discover it?:

Ok, I can tell that you need a few more science classes. The reason we die is not the distance. Its the gravity, the density of what were landing on and sorry but an ant has a different physical composition, and it also is not as heavy, dense as we are, and we are also alot of water. That is why the shock waves of a bomb blowing up can scramble up our innards and we would look fine from the outside but everything inside is flipped and destroyed. Check this out.-Rachel.

Bodies falling through air can't exceed a certain velocity called the terminal velocity. For a human falling off a skyscraper, that is about 100 mph which is enough to kill. For an ant, the ratio of area ( air resistance is the important feature here ) to weight is such that it doesn't reach at all a high terminal velocity and so lands relatively unscathed.

No it isn't. An ant doesn't weigh much, so falling from your shoulder would actually have less impact than if you fell from the same height.

it is definitely not the SAME.

u fall off a building and u surely die.

ants dun because they are very light and they reach terminal velocity very fast... their landing is not rough as they are strong enough to counter the impact with their super strong limbs.

it has a low terminal velocity
so it won't hit the ground as hard as we would
