I have always liked rats so talking would be an added bonus.

i don't kill rats or mice. i have chased my cats all over the yard (and into the neighbors yard) before, trying to get mice away from them. i look like an idiot.

I have a gorgeous white rat named Girly and if she could talk I would be stoked.
She is sooo cute and gentle with lovely little paws that hold on to the end of your fingertips.
She loves snuggles and kisses and will lick your face when she is on your neck. She is VERY clean.

I would catch it and make it sing so it could make me some money! But what if it only talked and sang when no one was arround and ended I up like that guy in the Looney Toons cartoon that tried to make Michigan J. Frog sing in front of people but didn't?

I tend to agree with YOU. I only kill rats that cost me money or that present a health threat to me in some way. I would not treat a "TALKING" rat any differently,,,,except that I would suggest to him (or her)the possibility of a partnership that would make us BOTH WEALTHY. I like rats as long as they stay in their place.

That would be soo awesome!.. i have always wanted to be able to know what animals are thinking.. i would use it to talk to my dogs to see what they are thinking when they have random spastic moments and roll around on the floor holdingtheir tail in their mouth..
i love mice.. when i was little there was a little sticky pad thing in my room...i was like 3 and there was little itty bitty mouse on it and i talked to it and read if you gave a mouse a cookie..

domestic rats or big mean vicious wild cat eating rats ??? I would love to talk to animals like Dr. doolittle I love them and they seem to like me. If a rat talked to me I would try to reason with it,

I would ask him if he lived in paris and if he had any amazing cooking skills..then I would start working at a fancy restaurant, and make it big with him cooking my food :)
