Hi. Unfortunately, you need a DVD burner to be able to burn DVDs. CD burners can only burn CDs. Try getting a DVD burner. I believe you can get one at a reasonably cheap price.

While you can't burn to a DVD with your drive, you could try to make a video CD as most DVD players will be able to read that format. You will have to burn it to a CD though.

If you just want to burn avi episodes files onto a DVD as data disc, you need to keep the total size of added episodes lower than the dvd disc size limit, then you can use a software to burn them onto a dvd disc, you can try RZ Free DVD Burner, it's free and easy to use, it can directly burn any files or folders onto any DVD disk as data disc, the data dvd can be opened on computer, but can't be played on dvd player. But if you want to fit/burn more video files onto a DVD that can be played well on DVD player, you need to use a right software to auto compress the video files to fit the dvd disc size limit, like I'm using RZ DVD Creator, it can fit/burn more video files onto a video DVD, it can auto fit the size, it can customize a cool DVD menu for the episodes selection, it can directly convert any video files to video dvd and burn to any dvd disc(DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL, etc), such as convert and burn all avi episodes onto one video DVD, easy to use, just run RZ DVD Creator, insert a dvd disc into your dvd burner drive, directly drag and drop all avi files into the software, if you view a message tip "Source DVD size is larger than CD/DVD disc capacity", you can click "Yes", the software will auto compress the video files to fit the inserted dvd disc, then click "START" button, you will get a good video DVD from your avi files, you can play the burned video dvd on dvd player well. You can yahoo or google search and download RZ Free DVD Burner or RZ DVD Creator, both easy to use, hope them can help you. At last, you should note, fit too many episodes onto one video DVD will reduce the quality, according to my experience, 120-200mins episodes are the good choice for a video DVD on a normal dvd disc.
