Live and let live. Why are you worried about it. It's a type of style. Hollister and Abercrombie are 2 different stores. They have really cute stuff. If you don't like them, don't shop there. Don't worry so much about other people. Concentrate on yourself and get over all that hate!

I don't know but a lot of people think that way. It's true wearing that clothing doesn't make someone rich and not wearing it doesn't make you poor it makes them unique. I like abercrombie and hollister but I would never just buy Hollister and A & F and I don't wear any of the shirts with HOLLISTER or ABERCROMBIE printed across the front. I like to buy from a lot of stores (especially places like Forever 21 and wetseal) and have a variety. Besides now you can find things that look exactly the same as Hollister and A & F everywhere.

Well, I did when I was younger... I don't really care. I prefer to buy a few nice things (shoes, coat, jeans) and then the rest I buy cheap. I buy my tshirts at thrift stores because I like to wear tshirts and thrift stores are great! I also buy jeans from hollister on occasion but thats because they are CHEAP... not expensive! Expensive jeans are 575s and Miss Me's and stuff like that. Hollister and Abercrombie are wanna-be stores and honestly, there clothes aren't too great.
As for the people who think this... They are ridiculous. Clothes don't make the person. I probably look like I dress a lot cheaper than someone who wears that stuff but I guarantee you my outfit is more expensive. I think one word to best describe this is OVER RATED.
I agree, it makes me mad when someone claims to be rich. I just want to say "no, daddy is rich, your not." because if it wasn't for there parents, they would be POOR! People like that rarely know the value of a dollar, and when it comes down to it don't have as great morals or values as someone who has known what it felt to to not have money. It's sad really.... really, really sad.

lmao listen i got like 5 t shirts of abrercrobie and like 2 pants and i use them as gym clothes i wear my white ts and hole cut jeans when i go out. My point is abercrombie clothes to me are boring and have 0 style hence i use them as gym clothes. Im deff not rich so you dont have to be rich to buy abercrombie clothes i find hollister more stylish for a better price i mean anyone who spends more than 40 buxx on a t shirt is only hurting themselves. Oh yeah by the way i get most my shirts at hot topics.

I wear hollister and abercrombie & fitch and i don't think i'm rich nor do i think people who don't like it are poor and jealous..
Another thing, it's certainly not poorly made, their hoodies are A) softest hoodies ever and B) keeps me extremly warm in freezing cold weather.
Most people buy them for their colour, not their "plain" design.

Dear friend ,
We live in a world where we all have the need to Impress DUMB , IL-LOGICAL , CRAZY -BUT SEXY AND ESSENTIAL GIRLS / women / friends / society
We all have to Impress and ensure that we belong the Highest possible strata of society
That is the reason girls and boys like
1) Flashy clothes
2) Branded Clothes
3) Flashy Costly Cars
4) Hep look
5) Fashionable lifestyle
6) Lot of Accessories
7) Cooling Glasses
8) New clothes ....every day a new look
and so on and on and on
What to do .......The girls and women just need Status
They give Respect and love only to the Status possessors
Do you even know a single girl who like a Man / Boy with simple lifestyle ??
No ....you wont find
Status is a symbol of Power
Power is a symbol of
Authority , Acceptance , Happiness , Security , Manliness
So in lot of ways girls are right in what they think
They want Manliness and not simplicity
They want wealth....Not ethics and Morals
They want proof of Sustenance Power
Not proof of Poverty
Girls are right
Women are right
I was wrong most of my lifetime

Stereotypes rather in simple terms style of arise on their own. the place i'm from, the preppy, goody good, richy, snobby young ones save at those shops, yet having pronounced that, a lifeless ringer for that keep enables it. look at places like warm subject count and Spencers. maximum persons of their outfits is bondage pants, chains, black, corsetts, and the works. Alot of persons who have been rather into that style of outfits began to save there, for that reason it grew to enhance right into a gothic keep. places like Hollister and Abercrombie do tend to have some pricier outfits than alot of different shops and maximum of their stuff suits the preppy, richy stereotype that persons provide to eachother. And now, alot of the stereotyped preps or wealthy young ones save there. In all, shops are labled for their costs, their varieties, and maximum severely, the persons who save there.

so far i haven't bought anything from Hollister or A&F. it really bothers me that you need to wear a "label" to be popular or hot or w/e! it's a SHIRT! or PANTS! good grief. it's also really annoying/funny that people think that when they put on a Hollister shirt it makes them a cool dude/chic from California! PAHLEEEEZE PLAYA! a shirt doesn't make you anything. it's a piece of cloth! ...nice try though... maybe next time you should just actually be from Cali...

hey if people think that "rich" kids, teens or young adults are really rich then they would be wearing a shirt worth about $498 shirt by Armani and other things like chanel, gucci,Dior and so on so its a jealousy thing and some people just can't stand it.
apparently i'm a "rich" kid according to the people at my school, and i wear abercrombie i only have like a couple of things from there
