Which of these processors is more faster? Intel Dual Core or AMD sempron?

The AMD's Sepron is a low end processor and should not be compared with intel Dual Core chip. The sempron is in the same lines as intel's celeron. So to answer your question. Dual Core is indeed the faster of the two.

The dual core chip from Intel is faster than the AMD sempron. Although you will be able to find AMD Sempron CPUs with a higher clock speed, the Intel offering is faster clock for clock.

When you do start to run a few more programs at a time then you'll start to notice the difference even more too.

So if you're deciding between the AMD Sempron and one of Intel's dual core offerings then go with the Intel if the price difference isn't outrageous (which it usually isn't!)

I would say the Intel Dual Core. I have it on my laptop now and compared to my other laptop with AMD sempron, it works a lot faster.

Intel dual core, im pretty sure theres no dual core sempron, and i know the single core semprons arent that good anyways, and are kind of outdated.

The sempron is about the slowest processor you can buy - the intel should be a hell of a lot faster.

Sempron is the AMD version of a celeron (and i hate celeron CPU's very much ) i would reccomend dualcore any day but go for an AMD dualcore if you can.
