If your sex life is great, then it means his wife is simply entertaining herself like I am right now! LOL. I am the same, when the kids are in bed and the hubby goes to sleep, if I am bored I get on the internet. It's harmless. If my husband asks what I am doing, I show him. There is nothing secretive, no bad motives. I check e-mails, connect with friends, look at interesting articles. I wouldn't consider what you are talking about as "all the time." The good thing is that after all these years and kids he still cares what you're up to! He's obviously interested in what keeps you interested.

I think he is questioning if he is boring you and you are using the computer to avoid spending time together. We have the same thing happening here, and I have had to set aside some nights of the week when I simply do not get onto the computer. Those nights we may just watch some TV together, or go to bed early and read (and have sex), or watch a DVD, but at least we are doing something together. We computer addicts don't realise how much we shut the real people out of our lives.

It means that she doesn't want to watch boring football games or insipid sitcoms on television all the time
It's no different than watching television or reading a magazine. I would argue that it's better than any of those two because it's interactive, non-passive, and is a huge forum for learning as well as entertainment.
Much of what most people seem to use television for is just entertainment. The content on television is a lot of garbage. There is a lot of garbage on the internet, but a person has much more control of the content they'd like to be involved with when using the computer/internet
That said, being on the computer/internet could be a problem if you are using it to have secret sexual liaisons. (It's pretty easy to meet someone to get laid by using the internet). Being on the computer/internet can also be a problem if it interferes with the other duties in your life

If your computer use interferes with your responsibilities and relationships, then you might have a problem.
But if you are taking care of things in your life - including relationships - then there's nothing wrong with it....it sounds like you do the computer thing for 'down time' - you know how some people lock themselves in the bathroom and take hours long bubble-baths or how some knit? Well; you just do the computer.
It's a hobby; that's all. :)
Maybe you should get another computer so your hubby can join and you can still be connected via chat, if you or he find a site you'd recommend to one another.

not at all , but if you get a router and a second computer he could go online as well. As to his question, it can mean that she is interested in answering questions where she may give comfort to someone who needs her advice, for one thing. Also, she can be keeping in touch with friends since e-mail has replaced traditional mail to the extent that postage had to be raised to keep the post office in business - or so the post office says!!! Of course, you can also tell him that were I female, he would really hate to be married to me if computer time meant anything at all. lol.

It must be more interesting than he is. No, seriously, a mum needs some relaxation, advise, or just plain down-time no matter where in the world she is. This mum of four is in New Zealand, and its 2.30 in the morning and my husband, who was asleep has just come in, given me a filthy look, and gone back to bed again. Cheers to all the mums on here tonight, or yesterday or whatever it is where you happen to live.

For me, the computer is a relaxing time. Time for me to enjoy for me.
I don't think it's a problem, but if he does then maybe you need to re-examine your usage.
