I recently bought a pair of guppies, the female of which was pregnant. It has been a couple of weeks since i bought her and i would like to know what the gestation period is, and what other things i should know about the care of the parents and the infants. If the care is just the general plan for livebearers, than i have everything available: new tank for babies, place for the parents to go, etc.

Please people, if you don't know don't tell me you don't know, and don't give me more random information (ex: answering my question with questions.

gestation period = 28-31 days.

The parents love to eat the babies. A tasty snack. make sure you separate them. Feed the babies crushed up flake food. Put regular flake food in a bag and roll up untill the flake food is to a powderlike texture. You can keep the parents in the main tank but put the babies in the separate tank.
