You have no obligation to let anyone into your house unless they have legal authority or right to be there. I'm not quite sure who would be coming to your door and expecting to come in but you don't have to nor should you let someone unknown to you into your home.
Now if you have just decided to not let black people into your home then YOU have a problem and YOU need some help.

If it is a private residence and not a business, and nothing was done in the public eye that would have caused them a material loss, they don't really have recourse. The only case I can think of would be if the house was on the market and you refused to allow them the chance to look it over preceding a purchase, and your refusal was based on race. Of course, you can be sued for anything, but that does not mean that they will win. If this is really happening, sounds like a counter suit for legal fees, lost wages and time etc...might be in order.

It would make you a supreme jerk but you cannot be sued. You have the right to allow anyone you like or exclude anyone you wish from entering your house. The rules would change if it were a business and open to the public.

It is not illegal and you cannot be sued. You have the right to exclude anyone for any reason that you like.

Your home is your property. Part of property ownership is the "Right to Exclude." You cannot be sued, you have the right to decide who comes into your home. Just because it is not illegal, does not mean its not wrong.

I would think you could decide whom to allow into your own private home, regardless of the color of their skin. But if you signed a contract with a company that would require one of their employees to be in your home and that employee happened to be black, you would have to pay the contract anyway. Failure to pay could have that company sue you.

Although I do agree that it is your house, you can decide who you will let in or not. But I don't understand why you wouldn't let them in basing your decision on the color of their skin.

Why? It's your house. You can allow anyone into, or disallow anyone you like.
