My impression of people from England are sophisticated and smart. I love your accent. I know there are a million things I could admire about Tony Blair...but in the end I just thought he was great for sticking by us in 9/11. I never hear people saying anything other than positive things about you "brits"... Why ... what are you saying about us Americans?

I'm an anglo-American that's been anxious to visit the British Isles since I was a kid--love your manners and manner of speech, not to mention the dry humour. I guess I'm an anglophile, although it's been 6 generations since our family lived there. In my book, Brits can do no wrong! God bless you and the Queen! Cheers!

I love you very much. I can sincerely begin with Princess Diana, Prince William and Prince Henry. There is Hyacinth on "Keeping Up Appearances" as Patricia Routledge. "Mr. Bean" who is Rowan Atkinson and who is a "real" fun person. The amazing and very charming Louisa who was portrayed by Gemma Jones as the Duchess of Duke Street in its weekly television series. I was so enthralled with that piece. I watched it for months on end. Don't forget the ever changing "Dr. Who." This man is now represented by the incomparable David Tennant. I have watched the various doctors for years. I wish you well. Peace, Love and God's Blessings.

Overall, I think most Americans like British people and feel that they are basically intelligent, civilized and humanitarian in nature. .

However, we see no reason for your government to be in places like Northern Ireland, Gibraltar and the Falklands any longer and hope it can reach suitable agreements with the Republic of Ireland, Spain and Argentina respectively over them. .

Yall are quaint. Pretty likable most of the time.

Thanks for British heavy metal, especially Iron Maiden and Motorhead, and for Charles Darwin.

What was up with that Tony Blair guy though? Why did he kiss Bush's ***? It was as if Bush had photos of him making out at a gay bar or something, and was blackmailing him. Very odd.

I don't really have a specific opinion. I don't dislike Brits, but I can't say that I like them because I haven't known very many. But if it helps, I do want to visit England one day.

I like you. I think the vast majority of Americans do. On my last vacation (Caribbean), I hung out with a guy from Manchester & his sister quite a bit. Fun people.

Staid, stogy, strait-laced. Terrible restaurants. Mostly boring. Great friends. Great allys. Kind of like grandparents. Lovable but old fashioned.
