Roses are the worlds most popular plant, thier are thousands of varieties with different colors, fragrances, growth habits, sizes, forms, and ect. Roses have been around for thousands of years. A rose is a rose is a rose is a rose and so forth.
People like roses for their beauty only. The other things to do to keep their beauty only people dread. A rose is not intended for a lazy person at all, they require work and time to make them look good.
If anybody is new at the gardening world and wants to learn about gardening buy them 4 roses. They will learn about insect control, weed control, disease control, proper wateringand irrigation, soil management, pruning, rodent control, graftng/udding and mollusk control. A rose is a great plant to learn from. If you do not have the desire to learn about gardening then do not have any roses.

Red roses are the symbol of love and pink is friendship. And if you get roses you know your liked very much because they are to damn expensive to get for someone you don't like.

They stink nice.
Lots of time and energy put into making them very special. But I'm not into those hybrid tea over picky roses.
The roses I like are more wild. Thorny and sprawling. They make nice fences. And they bloom like crazy. Good for the bees and birds, and so much more.

roses have many properties... other than the scent.. they are also edible and can be made into beads... (the pedals) noting the term: rosary beads
of course they're a strong plant and can withstand temperature changes of the drastic.. they're highly scented and referred to as the romantic plant and it also has characteristics that ward off some insects...
and they hold up well in design.. garden or other.. like with floats.. settings, topiaries... they just hold up better than most flowers, generally.
and they look damned good.

Look at them. Did you ever see such perfection? Actually you can see such beauty many many places, maybe even everywhere if you're a yogi or something. But when I look at a rose when it is at perfection the beauty is awesome. How can you look at a rose and not believe in God. It's one of those things that's got "it" (like Oprah says). There's no way to describe it. Don't you agree? Look again.
