I immediately thought of my oldest brother, who sexually abused me for too long a time and got away with it. I still suffer nightmares. But as I started to type this, I thought, No, if I saw him about to be hit with a car, etc. I'd react and push him out of the way. I'd react from who I am, not for who he is.
