I don't know that might be giving LSU too much credit. That Kentucky QB would be average in the Pac-10. I guess it took an ex Pac-10 coach to show LSU what a team with a QB can do.

I'm not an LSU fan but they do have an impressive team. The Pac-10 is formidable, but I disagree that it is the be-all and end-all. Basically, I think Pac-10 teams have better offense and SEC teams have better defense. That said, I think Kentucky's QB would shine in any conference.

If LSU was in the Pac 10 the would win it every year. Because the Pac 10 is no better than a Class AA conference.

I think LSU would compete for the top of any conference, I think the best teams in all the major conferences could compete in any other conference. LSU's a good football team even though they lost today, as is Cal.

Are you kidding?

LSU would destroy the Pac-10.

There is starting to be a West Coast Bias in College Football now.

LSU would be hanging with the Huskies and Cougars. They could probably split between the two. They could handle Arizona i think. Maybe around fifth or sixth in the Pac.

if you look at the pac ten you have cal and oregon and usc tied for first all of which are good strong one loss teams and then you have arizona state thats undefeated (for now) and ucla in the same boat i think lsu would be in trouble in the pac ten

I think you're overestimating the strength of the Pac-10. I don't think the Stanford and Oregon wins show that it's a strong conference - in fact, I think it shows that there really are no great teams in that conference that deserve to be in the national title picture.

I think it's funny how many reactionary threads there are regarding teams/conferences once the latest and greatest - in this case, Cal - goes down in flames.
