You use a book maker because sometimes you can get a little better point spread with him than you can get at an online site or out in Vegas, and especially...what? Oh, book MARKER? Never mind.

For general book reading I use an actual book mark because I always have those lying around, and when I need to mark a page in my school work or something I use Post It Tabs.

When I need a book mark, I cut off a piece of coloured ribbon or string the length of my book. It's simple, cheap, and it works!

My two favorites are, a bread tie from a loaf of bread and those no-account fake credit cards that comes in the mail.
