I can get the truck running but when I go up hill or step on the gas all the way it bogs down. It also will stall if I don't continually "play" with the gas pedal. I changed the EGR valve but no difference. I sprayed cleaner into the throttle body and it burns it with no problems. I think I'm getting too much fuel or too little fuel.

Yes, the fuel pressure regulator could be the problem, but it's more likely to be a clogged fuel filter, clogged filter sock in the gas tank, or failing fuel pump.

you might want to check the fuel filter on it,this will make it not get enough fuel and cause the same problems your having,it might also be a real good idea to have this trucks computer scanned, and see if it has any trouble codes on it,that may tell you some of whats wrong with it,you just about have to scan every car and truck made these days before you start to work on them,it may help you find your problem without spending a whole lot of money, and auto zone or advance can do this for you for free, good luck with it.
