I kind of understand because I feel the same way about live music. But to me football(american) seems pointless. It's just a game and many fans treat it like their own religion.

Okay then go do your music, and we will do our football. What is the complication in that?

Yes even girls enjoy watching football, and no it isn't because of the quarterbacks! Although they don't hurt! Football is one of America's great sports. I personally can not watch a baseball game on TV but give me football any day. I dare you to spend all day tomorrow watching football not just the games but pre game too and try and learn more about it. Before you know it you might just turn in to a football fan!!

It may seem pointless if you don't like it, but for fans it's not. It's not any different from supporting a team in any other sport. What makes college football stick out to me in comparison to other sports is the passion the players have. Their enthusiasm spreads to the fans.

You say that about football because you aren't into it. But all of us that are answering this question and aren't too crazy about live music can say well that is just people on a stage with a microphone. Things have different meanings to different people.

It is like a religion. To some people this is everything. This is one of the only things me and my father had in common. Instead of church we would make our picks and spend all day watching the games. So it just kinda stuck and i hope to pass it to my son one day.

its cause you dont understand it.
its not just a game to the ppl that play it either.
ppl love the sport and they become fans and fanatics.
its what makes it such a good sport and it also is a way to get things off your mind and enjoy something.

well see here miss the game is something intense its crazy sitting on the side line watching your boys try their hardest to win a tuff game. Ive been in hard games trying to totally destroy a team but they try to do the same thing to you.

IT IS OUR RELIGION. We don't bother you about yours so please don't bother us over ours. Live music is pointless to me, I mean come on, they sound totally different then when you listen to their cd's, and the cd's are much better then live. So you have your oponions and we have ours.

LSU RULES....and FOOTBALL IS A RELIGION.
