I am very surprised to see the University of South Florida Bulls ranked #5 in college football. In the past few seasons, USF was not even in the top 25 (that I am aware of) and now they are an undefeated team with a record of 6-0.

How would you react if the South Florida Bulls became the 2007 NCAA Division I College Football Champions?

It doesn't surprise me that South Florida is #2 on the BCS rankings, as that system is very decieving as it discounts strength of schedule and has no regard for margin of victory. On other, more accurate listings, South Florida is as low as #6 (BGS Ratings), which is where they should be. That said, should the Bulls run the table and finish as one of two undefeated teams, they should be entitled to a championship berth.

It's actually very refreshing to see a school like South Florida get a legitimate shot after seeing programs like Boise State and Marshall get snubbed in recent years. However, I still believe the old guard will have something to say about that and try sneek in some 1 or 2 loss program (Michigan? USC?), like they did with Nebraska a few years ago.

BYU won the title in 1984 with a very weak schedule and beat a Michigan team that finished 6-6 in the Holiday Bowl. Until we have a playoff format, it will just be a mythical national championship.

I'd quit watching college football. An 11-1 Ohio State team would be more deserving than a 12-0 USF team in my opinion. Watching Louisville collapse, knowing that WVU is overrated, and knowing that most of the Big East doesn't play that challenging of a non-conference schedule, I'm not impressed with them. The fact is, that USF is there because they beat a not-as-good-as-usual Auburn team and beat an overrated WVU team. I think LSU, Florida, Ohio State, etc would crush them.

And the haters are like they dont belong there..

Good thing we'll never have to worry about this happening. They are overachieving right now. USF and BC will come back down to earth. If LSU, Oklahoma and Cal lost, they'll lose too.

I would love to see them in the Championship game....the pollster's are gonna be looking for any reason to keep BC and SF out of it..but if they go undefeated......I like the sound of that.....And this has been the most unusual year yet....

Good luck to both SF and BC...

LSU RULES.

They might...but I would bet on them losing before they get the chance. It looks like another unbeaten Ohio State VS. a one-loss SEC team.

I would say, congrats on winning the Championship in one of the wackiest years in college football history.

Good for them. It is about time a new team ruffles the feathers of the old guard.
