I've always had weird experiences, shadows moving around when nothing is moving, weird sensations like people touching me stuff like that, and I know my aunt on my Dad's side has always felt like she has had some pyschic abilities but never thought to much about it until today when my dad was talking about it and he said he experiences stuff all the time also and that all of my aunts on that side have experiences that are out of the ordinary. My dad has a hard time sleeping in hotel rooms because of all of the energy in the room. Is this something people pass on in their family? They all feel that my little sister who was born six months after my grandfather died is really him, I guess after today I'm just a little more interested in what I've been experiencing my whole life so does anyone know any good books or any thing to look into that explains any of this?

Honestly I think we're all born with the ability to feel that sort of energy. I think as we get older we just feel like it isn't right or normal.

I think it seems to run in families because there are just some people who think it's natural. When you're in a family like that you're able to experience all that you do because you won't fear people thinking you're crazy.

I've lived a while and yes, like the bible says there are spirits and principalities, but we are not to interact with them. It also says we are not to contact the dead. So, when I see shows like ghost hunters, its silly because like you just said those of us that are sensitive know ofcourse spirits exsist, and dark spirits, alot of stuff. But "Greater is he that lives in you than in the world" We need to follow Gods plan for our lives, and tell the spirits in the name of Christ the Lord to leave!
