ok i just got xbox360 and i need help with xbox live because my rouder is down stairs so i cant hook it up. and i tried to hook it up to the port in the back of my tower but nothing happened helpp plz and dont say hook it up to the rouder or modem cuz i cant do that!! and yeah help please.

dont listen to these noobs there is a way to do it but you gonna need alot of ethernet cables and connect them together until you can get it long enough to where you want the xbox360 to go at.....you need some ethernet extenders.....other than that 100 bucks for wireless adapter for xbox360...i suggest going on ebay and purchasing it there because youll probably save about 20-30 bucks...good luck

sounds like the 1 of 2 things:
get a tv downstairs or just get the wireless router

You need the Xbox Network adapter ($100) so you can play wirelessly
(And you need to have a wireless network)
