Because you just started the pill you shouldn't have skipped your period in the first month. You period is abnormal due to the hormones going through your body hence the bleeding now. I would speak to your doctor about it

Its normal, and you should be taking the pills as prescribed, and not listen to others who say its "ok" to skip the placebo week.

It all depends on what type of pill you have and you should ALWAYS consult with YOUR DOCTOR when you feel like trying to skip your period.

I did that once and not only was there breakthrough bleeding it took FOREVER to get back on a regular cycle. I won't ever do that again!

you cant skip your period, the inactive ones are just sugar pills, so taking them or not you'll still have your period during that time. as for the unusual bleeding, thats probably just because you're still adjusting to the pills. it takes some times for it to become regular.

It takes some time for the pill to "regulate" your cycle, and since you've only just started taking the pill, it seems that this is quite likely a normal symptom.
