I think it's called 'yard long bean' of the bean variety. I've overcome most of my childhood and personal dislikes of vegetables, but I still become nauseated by the mere look of those beans. Cooked carrots follow darn close, but long beans are strictly avoided.

Beets are an absolute "hell, no." I don't care how good-for-you they are supposed to be...those things are nasty. My godmother used to make me eat them when I was younger.

I also try to avoid carrots but I will eat them if they are finely cut/diced in soup or stew, or in a salad. Other than that...no to those, too....
