you cannot exceed the speed of electromagnetic radiation in a vacuum (299792458m/s). Howver, scientists are trying to get past this by finding 'loopholes' (not exactally loopholes, but they are finding a way around the problem) in the laws prohibiting this.

You wouldn't hit any speed you didn't already hit in the first place.... I take it fly means by some contrivance or other as in spaceship or something but even then you wouldn't be traveling very fast but the spaceship would be.... However the way it is now is light speed is as fast as the cops will allow....
Still the average speed of a human being is about 2 miles per hour so for humans say the fastest they can go is x^2 or 4 miles per hour then you would be talking about angels... or seraphims and the like but in any case they would still only go as fast as their average pace squared as that's the limit of this function see?

If I could fly I would travel the distance in a matter of hours so as from what I can see the places I go are several light years away... to get there and back you would have to already be on your way there to do so so with safety in mind I would say any speed barring that which is a menace to navigation and materials therin.

i would hit a car, a wall, another wall, a frightened onlooker, Neo, his bullet, agent smith, another wall, a tree, another tree, but then i would finally hit a boat, and decide to stop... so you see i will hit a lot of things whilst flying at top speed

I'd prob hang about forty to fifty miles per hour... I'd want to be able to see where I was going, for starters.... would want to be able to avoid those things that got in my way, and would prefer not to blow my britches off from air resistance.... *smile*..................
