historic previous says sure. maximum superbowl champions make the playoffs the subsequent season. devoid of Strahan and Umenyiora however, i think of they're going to bypass against historic previous and end at 8-8 and out of the playoffs. The Giants D-line became the biggest reason that the Giants have been waiting to overcome fighters final 365 days. Opposing offenses purely could no longer run their performs with Strahan and Umenyiora continuously interior the backfield play after play. The Giants dropping the two DEs from final 365 days's protection is going to be like if the Patriots misplaced Randy Moss AND Wes Welker from their offense - they don't seem to be going to be an analogous team devoid of those adult adult males in '08.

I say yes, they should be 6-2 going into the bye week and go at least .500 in the last 8 games. They could even win the division and a bye week. But I am an optimistic Giants fan so you can't trust me.

the chances look pretty good, so far. the defense looks like they finally get the new scheme and, Eli and, the offense are playing good. I think the only thing that could stop them from having a winning season is, another round of the injuries that, have plagued them, the last couple of seasons.

In my opinion there in the thoughest division in the leage so it will be hard to make the playoffs but I think they can get a wild card.
