There is a product demonstration on a web-site that I believe is deceptive. I want to record a part of it to a dvd and follow it with my version of the demonstration showing how it really works. This will be sent to the BBB and possibly someone like the state atty general for investigation. If they are putting it on the web-site for all to see, would recording it be legal as long as I give credit to the site where I got it?

No, I am almost positive, as long as you give credit it should be ok. Just think when you watch the news (say fox) and you see the sports highlights. WHen they play the video which is to tons of people, and its shot from (say nbc) they just give credit at the bottom of the screen to nbc. So your giving credit, i think will do the job.
