You can probably find a back almost as good as Morris on waivers, provided his teammate Maroney gets healthy. Steve Smith is a receiving stud, despite his slow start. Whoever gives up Smith in this case is taking an awfully big risk. It COULD work out for him, but I wouldn't make this trade unless I was the one coughing up Morris. All that said, Fantasy Football is relative. A lot of it depends on who else you have on your team.

Depends on what other players you have, but I would think Smith is a lot more valuable than Morris is.

Even with David Carr, Smith is still a top-10 WR. Sammy Morris could be a top-10 RB only if Maroney doesn't play.

I wouldn't do the trade but you could make a case for it with the QB situation in Carolina and Morency on the injured list this week.
