I broke my wrist while tring to roller blade with my kids. I just happened to go out when the ground was starting to freeze. I stepped off the pavement onto dirt and down I went. There just happened to be a man working on the road that day and he came over, helped me up and walked me across the street to my house. It hurt so bad at the hospital that I was in tears. While laying on the bed, waiting for my morphine shot, the pain was incredible. I started to sing praise songs, and you know what? The pain disappeared. As soon as I quit singing it would come back, so you probably realize that by now that I was singing up a storm. I have never heard of this happening before, even though I am sure it has to someone else.

No I haven't but my daughter broke her clavicle while celebrating her 4th birthday and she broke both her wrists at a friends skating party. Bless her heart..... It was so sad but she has always been such a trooper. She's 19 and in college now studying veterinarian medicine. No broken bones for my sons, though...........I think she took all the broken bones for the whole family.......lol

No and I'm 45 years old. I do have a bad habit of spraining my ankles though. In fact I sprained my left one just last Friday attempting to play softball. I sprained both ankles at the same time once. I'm going to be very screwed when I get older!

Umm...let's see: I broke my right leg when I fell out of a tree when I was about nine years old, and I broke my left wrist when I fell down some stairs a couple of years ago; I thought I could "catch myself!" Boy, was I ever wrong! But I still can't figure out to this day how it was that I only broke my left wrist and not the right one, too....

Yeah, my arm.
I fell over at recess in year 4~ and I go 'Hey, I broke my arm!'
I laughed for hours, and I spent the rest of the day at school, and when I got home my nan took me to the hospital and I needed an operation to put it back together LOL
Good times. :}
