Here N2 is different from Ar, which is monatomic gas and thus 3 degrees of translational freedom. N2 is a linear molecule, and thus has 3 degrees of translational freedom, and 2 degrees of rotational freedom. The kinetic energy of N2 is (5/2)nRT, while for CH4 is (6/2)nRT.
Now you do the math.
