Is it possible that we do not lie for the sake of deceiving others, but lie because our minds are made in a way that we cannot possibly tell the truth in situations?

It depends on the person. If I lie it can't be justified because I only lie to deceive others. Some people who are pathological liars can say it's justified. I don't think our minds can't tell the truth in certain situations that's just dumb. Everyone can tell the truth no matter what unless they're delusional or pathological liars.

when I was growing up, my mom was not around too much, and when she was around, she was yelling, mad, and short tempered. I learned at an early age to just tell her what she wanted to hear. Do not tell her the truth, because her mental state couldn't take it... so I lied all the time, to keep the peace and try to keep calm in the house.... when I grew up and got married, I did the same thing to my husband... he also has a short fuse sometimes.... I never lied to keep secrets from my mom or husband, I did it to keep them happy. I have been married for 14 years, and I lie sometimes and I dont even realize it... it is almost always something that means nothing... like I will tell my husband I spent $45.00 at the store when actually it was $50.... It will just come out of my mouth before I know it.. I already said it... then I get in trouble...

Every person's motivation for lying is different. Some people lie to avoid negative consequences. Some people lie to "save" people from the truth (i.e., they tell a dying husband they love him, but they really love his best friend). Some people who lie don't even know they are lying, they just say whatever they think people want to hear so that people will think good of them, a form of manipulation. Some people lie just to manipulate people. There are many reasons for lying. Does this "justify" lying. Justify it to whom and for whom? Answering such questions may require examining the consequences of lying to the parties involved.

Lying is just a way to protect yourself or others from the truth. It's a way to make others think something else happened. You lie just as a way to defend yourself and stay away from attacks (arguments and sometimes physical fights).

There are times where people find it hard just to tell the truth and let thier mind lead them but sometimes have trouble taking back control and then one white lie leads to another

Yes it can,
Lying is a form of self defense. It is also buys you time. Lying can cast doubt away from you and unto someone else.
Lying can help you walk away until you can run.

Right and wring can't really be justified all the time because whatever problems people have they DO have consciences.

pathologically, your statement would be correct. However, for the majority of people, it is due to the fact that they themselves are scared of the truth
