The Ayatollahs could summon all the war mongering clerics of the Islamic faith, and behead them for not following the true teachings of Islam.
They, like the clerics can "interpret" the Qu'ran to peaceful teachings and remove the "dark" elements that the rest of the world find harmful to peaceful life.
But they will not, and the Islamic leaders are being shown for what they are truly are!

By getting out of there, and this missile defense plan is like starting the arms race all over again. Bush says it is for defense, but to Middle East, and Russia it makes us look like occupiers.
Ok for u.s. to set up nukes as long as the other countries all abandon their nukes ? I don't think they will go along with this.
