Would you run, or try to defend against the gunman?
With all the workplace and school shootings lately, I think about this a lot.
It's pretty bad when you can't feel like you are safe anywhere.
I think I would try to stop the shooter, especially if there are kids around. I would rather go down than to see some innocent child get shot....

That depends on the scenario. I've never been shot before. I don't know what it feels like. I may try to stop the shooter. I would have to find an the opportunity. I'm not going to just charge said shooter blindly. I'd try to sneak up on him. If I failed to neutralize I'd probably be killed quickly anyway. Atleast someone tried right?
I'm no coward. I will say that. I like doing good acts. Especially if it will save some lives.
A Coward dies a 1000 deaths..A Soldier dies but once.

I would duck down; pull my gun out of my purse; make sure I had a good clear shot--AND SHOOT.
Personally, I think teachers should at least be able to carry tazzers (is that how you spell it? spell check didn't pick the proper spelling)
There are some principals who carry them in my area. But, I think the teachers should have them too.

I'd get down and try to get away.
I'm not dying on someone else's account.
I understand that makes me selfish but honestly I doubt that someone would risk their life for me. I figure, you have to look out for #1

I'D RUN LIKE HELL! I know that I should try to protect other people, and it's a nice idea, but I know that when it comes down to it, I'd protect myself first (unless someone that I loved was with me)...

i would not run and draw attention to myself . so that leaves the option of hiding or just playing dead. i guess i would try to be as unnoticeable as possible and hope for the best.

What i would do is i would try to sneek up on him take his gun and threaten him with it until the cops get there.
