Symptoms of a blown head gasket include;
-white smoke coming from tailpipe, some times intermittently
-water in oil, sometimes they mix, the oil gets a chocolate milkshake appearance
-oil in coolant
-cylinder pressure low when using the wet or dry compression method
-cooling system will not hold pressurewhen statically pressurized
if there is white smokeand your headgasket is bad chances are the o2 sensor has been poisoned, expect to have problems with it,it may need to be replaced
had the same thing happen with my car, the head was warped, there was lots of smoke coming from the tailpipe, it was obvious there was a problem. good luck, hope there's no problems for you.

Ummm the coolant in the radiator???? LOL. Here is the easiest to the hardest. Let the car cool down and check the coolant in the radiator. If that is good leave the radiator cap off and start the motor. Peer down into the radiator (Not directly over it you don't want to have is spray in your eyes. You should see the coolant swirling a bit as the water pump does its job. The water pump sends coolant through the engine to cool it. If there is no action there it may be your water pump. If there is turn the car off put the cap back on. Check your oil and see if you can see any beads of water on the dip stick with the oil. This is bad...very bad means your head gasket or seals are bad. If this is OK. Start the car again and let in idle making sure the red mark is not obtained and gently squeeze the top radiator hose is should be hard because the water pump builds up pressure if it is not it is most likely again your water pump. Oh I left out something....make sure you have adequate oil in the car as well. Good Luck

you might want to have the compression checked on it,if it did get any problems from this it may not show up right now,but a compression check may tell you if it has affected a head gasket or that you have a coolant leakage in the system,that was really hot,and usually on any car with an aluminum or cast head it will cause some damage,for now if its running alright id keep an eye on the running temperature,and also the oil pressure,these two things can be affected by it getting hot,you might still want to take it to a mechanic and have it checked out really good though,they can check all the needed things and tell you if maybe it did affect it more than its sowing to have done,for now drive it normal ,and keep an eye on all the gages in it,hopefully it didn't hurt anything in it,if it didn't though your a really lucky person,good luck with it.

Assuming your vehicle transmission feels like this; L, 2, D. and then the o/d(overdrive). attempt to be able to elect each and each and every equipment in my view and pink line them until eventually it receives to 4th or fifth equipment. Ofcourse the producer gadgets rev reduce. That reduce can't be exceeded until eventually the european or ECM is been changed.
