I think you meant 26 straight regular season wins.

The record is Oklahoma with 45, from 1953 to 1957. They lost to Notre Dame and tied Pittsburgh at the beginning of the 1953 season, and did not lose again until Notre Dame beat them again in the 8th game of the 1957 season. The accepted streak is 47 wins, but two of those were bowl wins.
