NO.
If you are incapable of real life experience then you cannot fathom the properties of real things. However, if you are capable (that is have the ability) to experience things but as yet not developed enough to absorb what you experience then YES you can. Since it then becomes a matter of time to put things into perspective. In a sense ALL of human kind, perhaps ALL life undergoes such changes.
Once again, you cannot reason without experience and you cannot fathom real life situations without experience. The two are inseparable/

I don't think so. Experience belongs to the flux of the history and the men' duties are to make history or to experience the properties of 'real' thing in the vacuum (or forms) around them in order to comprehend their 'human reason', their life, their inner-mystery… however, according to the platonic thought, I think that human reason can able to comprehend the properties of real things without experience.
Your question makes me remember the story of Robinson Crusoe while being born in the empty land of natives. Consequently, he would have been able to fathom 'new' real things by his own human reason without pre-experience.

it would only be able to make assumptions about them..

these assumptions may be correct or incorrect, but there would be no way to verify this until experience is gained..

not sure what you want from "philosophical context".. i just answer within a logical context..

Being we are eternal spirit souls in actuality we do have actual experience of the properties of real things, but we have only forgotton due to the coverings of material existance. By the association of one who has already seen these real things(transcendental) and the Absolute Truth, they can revel to you the atual experienc. BY the association of saintly persons we can have the experience ourselves, but not by any mundane reason or not by our limited sences. It is only by full surrender to God and His pure representatives can we actually get the experience and understand it.

Would experience without reason know any thing? It is learning the properties of the unreal that we know unreal and in their subtraction we know real.
