I have the most simplest cure for the fleas, if you want to go natural; it's Garlic or Garlic/Yeast combined. It takes a week or so for it to get into the pores of the skin, but you'll see a 90 to 95% flea reduction. You can coat the capsules with Peanut Butter, or anything that the dog likes to eat, so you can get it down it. You won't have to bomb your inside, nearly so often, either. Just make sure that you give this to them daily. I had tried everything, & an older couple told me about this. Well, since I had garlic powder, I started putting it into his People-Food; just a little at a time. You have to let them get really hungry, first. I checked him every day & was dis-appointed, but since I still had the powder, I kept giving it to him; after the week or so, I started noticing the difference, & before long, I'd pick 5 or 6 fleas off him, in place of so many that I couldn't count them. The system doesn't store this, so don't miss many days of giving it to the dog., or you'll be back to where you started from. Also, if you put the dog's food dish down into a larger container & add water to the larger one, NO Ants will cross the water to get to the food; if it dries up, though, the ants will have it. Water causes things to rise, so use a heavy food dish; I use a smooth-wall flower pot; you don't have to add much water, but, you have to keep adding more, before it evaporates, or the Ants will love you.

I have TWO dogs.

They tend to get ticks more than fleas. I've never seen their fleas, probably because the fleas are small and I have poor eyesight as well, but my brother claims they have fleas. He knows because the fleas transfer themselves to him, he says. I never got fleas from petting my dog, so I wonder if it's just my brother who has fleas (or body lice, or bedbugs).

I have a beautiful dog. He also has some fleas. Even when we take him to the groomers for flea baths, after a couple of weeks, he seems to get them again....either that or he has dry skin.
