Has this been a crazy season or what? Idk what's crazier: the fact that the season has been so wild or the fact that this is only Week 7 and so many things have happened?

#5 Michigan loses to App. St.
#3 Oklahoma loses to Colorado
#2 USC loses to Stanford
Notre Dame goes 0-5
Kentucky is 6-1
#1 LSU loses to #17 Kentucky
South Carolina is 6-1
South Florida is undefeated

call it right now..from the upcoming games beyond this week, which pretty good team will lose next?

I don't think it's been crazy.

In fact, the top 10 teams on the BGS Power Ratings right now boast a combined record of 60-5, which hardly qualifies as a rash of upsets.

One could conclude that certain teams were over-rated in the pre-season polls, creating an illusion of upsets, but those teams (Michigan, Notre Dame etc.) just weren't as good as expected.

I consider you thoroughly. There are numerous communities this season that every physique have valid arguments for being ranked #a million. i'm no longer attempting to discredit Florida in any way. They performed a great season and a great activity against Oklahoma, yet there are in basic terms too many different communities that would validly argue that they deserved a shot on the call. Utah become waiting to flow undefeated and beat an Alabama team that become ranked #a million for numerous weeks. regrettably, many pollsters admit that they did no longer even watch that activity. basically, some admit to no longer watching numerous the different star journey-united statesthat handed off this season too. Texas become yet another a million loss team with a valid argument. They beat Oklahoma by ability of 10 factors on a impartial internet site and pulled off a win interior the Fiesta Bowl over Ohio State (inspite of the very shown fact that it wasn't an exceptionally spectacular win). If Oklahoma had beat Florida, i can't see how their loss to Texas does no longer have tarnished their championship glory with the objective to communicate. yet lamentably, Chokelahoma strikes returned. USC is yet another a million loss team with a noticeably reliable argument besides (as much as I hate to assert it because of the fact i can't stand them). they had in basic terms the a million loss and went directly to blow out Penn State. till there's a playoff equipment, there are continuously going to be controversies (till consistent with probability there are in uncomplicated terms 2 undefeated communities and that they are the two from BCS conferences). If the NCAA is so against taking away the bowl video games, why no longer turn them in to the playoffs? Why can't the Orange Bowl be the nationwide Championship each 3 hundred and sixty 5 days? Why can't the Sugar Bowl and Rose Bowl be the two playoff video games that ensue earlier the Orange Bowl? do away with a lot of those stupid "Random Sponsor is going right here" bowls that no-one cares approximately. do away with the "BCS conferences" and supply all and sundry a honest shot. If a team from a "susceptible" convention gets blown out in a playoff, we will comprehend for beneficial they have been a pretender. in the event that they win all of it, we will comprehend they have been for authentic. not extra stupid guessing video games.

It appears to me that the South Eastern Conference probably deserves Florida, LSU, South Carolina, Alabama, and Kentucky to be listed in College Footballs Top 10!

The South Eastern Conference looks Awesome!!!!!

Looks like the 87 scholarships are paying there dues. The teams in the Major conferences are all getting closer together as far as talent goes. But LSU losing to KENTUCKY has to be the biggest upset ever in college football. What a total laugher for the SEC.

As unlikely as it may seem the Boston College Eagles could win the National Championship out of thier last five games only two are against ranked teams and they are thier next two Va Tech who is over rated and florida state who will be the only team standing in the way of them playing for the title.

Either South Carolina or Kentucky will win the SEC East. For once in a LONG time it will not be Florida, 10AhC, or Georgia.

Yup, it's been one of those years. It's one of two things, teams are better matched or teams just aren't all that good. Given the lopsided scores, I'll go with teams aren't that good.

What will happen next? South Florida and Kentucky for the national title. hehe.

USF will falter, its inevitable, same fate for BC, Cal could run it but i think its doubtful, OSU has a chance to run away, honestly i think the NC may now end up being between the 2 best 1loss teams.

USF and BC fans, sorry to say it, but i really think you'll each lose one...i know, i know, blah blah I'm a stoopid tiger fan blah blah

My alma mater has been devistated by injuries, including 23 players on the injury list and a dozen top starters including our best reciever and the two best possible replacements, both of the top running backs (one went out early in the 3rd quarter, last week, after running for 223 yards and two touchdowns in the first half), the top transfer player, etc.

You can't pick up free agents in college football. Injuries kill your season!!!

I am an Ohio State Fan......

I will NOT be totally shocked if they lose one, or even two games the rest of the year.

This is just the type of year its been.
