Of course they did.
Anyone who has seen any of my posts can decifer that I am an LSU fan. Let me be one of the firsts...GOOD GAME UK! LSU lost, no excuses. For the most part UK played better, and coached better. It was hard fought but it turned out to be just another weekend in the SEC. Good luck to UK, hope to see you again in atlanta.
now for the real question...
how far does lsu fall?
i say with a cal win, lsu falls to around 6 or 7 and with a cal loss, around 5. before you call me crazy, this was a conference road game that ended in triple overtime........

Well Steve, being a Kentucky guy myself, and after watching all 4 1/2 of a damn good football game, I have to say that it should have been a tie. The penalties and dropped balls is what killed LSU. Their receiving corps dropped 6 good passes. And their shouldn't be more than one, if any personal fouls from one team in a game.
Kentucky made mistakes in this one as well. Two interceptions, etc...
I'm not going to start talking trash or anything. This just goes to show that the SEC beats up on it's own so much that it actually hurts the rankings of these teams.
Maybe that's why the SEC is the toughest conference in the nation.
btw, glad to see that their is at least one LSU guy not crying a river about this.

I see LSU falling to 5th (worst case scenario 6th). LSU's lose is really going to help USF as it will prop them up at least to the 4th spot. LSU can still get a shot at the National Championship with one loss (ala Florida last year). I am a Kansas State fan (I was crushed when they didn't beat Auburn). The SEC is the greatest Conference in College football and if we had a playoff system than the National Champion would end up being an SEC team 80% of the time!

IF the Tigers lose, the only group i can work out beating them is Auburn..yeah Arkansas has McFadden & Jones and would run all day on LSU yet they are protection isn't sufficient to offer up LSU's offense..If Georgia can beat the Nick Sabans, then i be attentive to LSU can..I dont see us dropping to Kentucky because of the fact of they are protection and all we could do is supply up Woodson (if SC can do than LSU can and that's a compliment to SC) I see LSU enjoying interior the SEC champ. sport with a million or no losses against South Carolina, beating SC returned

No. I don't think you're crazy, but they will probably fall to 7 or 8. You still have a few games to work your way back up. LSU is not out of the race, yet. My Longhorns are completely out of it.
