I believe in a supreme power that remains unidentified by any Epic. I do not believe in any God glorified by a particular religion. I live a normal life liberally blessed by the God that resides in me. Neither do I go to a place of worship nor am I a member of any religious institution. I wish to donate my body after my death and part of my savings for public good while living. What would I be after my death true to your belief? If your reply is fact-based with a broader out look on life and living realities, it will not hurt me. Be frank in your response.

Hi, first of all I think that this is a great question. It is one that I have struggled with for a long time now. If, being the Catholic that I am, I am to truly believe what I am told for the absolute truth then I don't think, unless you believed in Jesus Christ as your own personal saviour, you would goto heaven. Now, cause I have meditated on this, I don't believe that Jesus would want us to not believe in him, but him being the son of God means he could be anyone, including you. He spoke well of the good samaritan who did not believe in him nor was he a jew. The thing is, he lived his life by example. I think that when all people die he will be there as an example of what is good, and the evil one will be there as an example of bad. This is where WE decide what we believe in. But then again, who really knows??? Faith is needed yes I agree but I am not blind to tyranny. That is, the church could be corrupted . . . then what??? I know what is good and bad for myself. And I walk that hard line on good. It is never always easy. Good luck with your quest.

Hai friend, You have the courage to express your belief whereas most of us do lack in it. It is the strking reality that most of us belonging to various faiths ultimately realise. But the question how to make a living out of it? You are talking about what would you be after death. I am just referring how you will be while living? You need some identification, group, faith you are expected to follow or attributed to be belonging to. How else you can get relieved of these born with gifts? This is a materialist world where everything spins around money and power. Try to understand and have an account of that philosophy which shows both the ways. Sinmple living, high thinking, pious, philonthrophic, and confortable need based accompalishments and an eye on the life after death. Got it?

What would you be after your death?

According to my interpretation of protestant Christianity, you have a body, and a soul or spirit.

Physical death is when your body stops doing it's job. The soul/spirit leaves the body, and whether it ends up in Heaven or Hell depends on whether you've asked God to forgive you or not. The Bible promises a new body, incorruptible, so I don't worry about donating my body to science... my soul won't need that once I'm dead.

I would encourage you, however, to get to know God as best you can, and don't hesitate to learn from other faiths... we weren't put here to act and learn in isolation. There is one truth, and you can find it.

There's enough evidence to convince lawyers of the resurrection of a man named Jesus... I recommend challenging the idea that the supreme power is still unidentified.

I believe there is a God who is not made up by me. He is actually the creator of me. I believe that is a fact and no matter what you believe that fact remains. I also believe that Adam and Eve were the first that God created. When he created them he gave them a free will. Long story short-they chose to sin. But God had a redemptive plan. By His Grace He gave us Jesus Christ, His son, who took the punishment for our sin. We still have the free will to accept the gift of salvation. Nonetheless whether we choose that gift or not the fact remains that only through faith in Christ Jesus we are saved. Only in this faith will we go to Heaven when we die.

Your mind is a very good fertile land which is lacking water for cultivation! Not only water but a cultivator also. You do have great thirst for knowledge. Your individual belief of GOD as the supreme power is agreed by majority. Now you have to find out a cultivator -- A GURU -- to plough your land (mind) and water it for the right cultivation. All religions do teach us good. If anything which you come across as not agreeable , there you apply your logic and if again in a dilema approach the cultivator - The GURU -- or his words. GURU may be one living present or lived in the past. The consciousness of your mind with proper attitude for learning about GOD can make you believe in religion. A member of a religion is not that bad. Only thing is try to know about the truth that religion teaches you. Finally I agree with your remark that only one GOD and add this also - ONlLY ONE RELIGION - Mankind. I depend for my words - my GURU - SREENARAYANA GURU - a saint born in Kerala who stood for ONE caste, One Religion and one GOD for all mankind.

I think of you as God-fearing. You see, religion can never satiate a person's desire to seek the Truth. The more you study religion, the more you get confused. You don't get satisfying answers, always "do not question God's Will". I believe that God never wanted us to fight over how to praise Him. He must be furious over people who thinks his or her religion is better than his or her religion. If you fear God, look around you. Do not emulate them. Religion has caused many deaths in the past and in our midst. It has caused scandal after scandal over money and the like. Of course, religion has its good times, too, to those who are blindly following it. Nobody should ever tell anybody an atheist if that somebody believes in God but does not profess any religion. You are in fact one of the many solitary God-fearing men. Religion is for those who wants belongingness.

Your thoughts are fairly commendable. right here're my thoughts (please word that my respond isn't meant to disrespect any particular faith or any God): nonetheless i've got faith there is God, i think of faith is something it is created by employing guy and the time-honored objective of religion while it improve into created improve into to have a social unity and to usher in a cost gadget wherein persons can stay at the same time and help one yet another as a replace of combating one yet another and quickly improve into extinct. the only thank you to convey the style of fee gadget to hundreds is a medium such as faith. The middle of any faith could genuinely carry forth love, peace, helping one yet another, living by employing social regulations etc. Your determination of believing in an unidentified superb ability and not associating with any particular faith does no longer in hassle-free terms shop you interior the main suitable spirit yet additionally loose you from the fanatism that some religious fundamentalists carry alongside with them. Following the style of perception, i think of, after dying you would be in simple terms be remembered by employing all people who've won advantages from you and people who've witnessed your good deeds, and for that reason you reside without end!

If these are your beliefs, they are your beliefs. You have noone to answer to but the Almighty himself. I myself don't go to a place of worship. But that's becuz , God is everywhere. He said u don'nt need to worship him in public, becuz the Kingdom of God is inside u. Your body is his temple. And he's a forgiving God. So I'm sure you donating your body for the greater good is ok. Besides, it's your soul that really matters. As long as you keep it pure and free of ignorance, you'll be just fine with H.I.M.

My viewing on God and Religion are like this. We are live in different house but those house have a foundation and a supporting structure.

For most Christians, such as myself, this foundation is God. This foundation is stronge. It is the ROCK in which we rest our faith in. It is unyielding and steadfast.

The supporting structure, for most Christians, is Jesus. He is the son of God. He was sent down as God in flesh to live a spotless life and die for our sins. Your belief in him grants you grants you atoinment for your sins and everlasting life with God after you die.

Now, if God is your foundation and Jesus is your supporting structure, than it doesn't really matter what your house looks like. There are over 6 billion people in this world. That is 6 billion + house that are different in their own ways but when one believes in God and accepts Jesus as their savior than the foundation and framework all becomes the same. If this applies to you, then may I see you in heaven but if this does not, you may want to re-evaluate who you think God is. Good luck and may God bless you.
