I grew up listening to Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Skid Row, Van Halen, Def Lepard, Guns N Roses, and Poison. I always shared a room with my sister and she wouldn't play anything but rock. Then in my teens, I listened to Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Candlebox, and Red Hot Chili Peppers to name a few.

My father had 8 track tapes of everyone from Chuck Berry to Johnny Cash to the Rolling Stones. So I became influenced by a wide variety of music. My uncle had a huge record collection of early 70's hard rock - esp. Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy, and Aerosmith. Later on in the mid to late 70's, my friends and I became huge Kiss fans. We bought every Kiss record we could get our hands on. I the 80's I loved just about everything, including hard rock, top 40, and dance club hits. So should not be a surprise that my CD collection (and I have thousands of CD's) is a strange mix of everything. My collection starts with Abba and ends with ZZ Top. Thats saying something!

My first recollection of music was back in 1978. Stuff like Billy Joel and DISCO. Everything that followed, I grerw up with and remeber vividly.
