Hi Justin;
First of all don't get scared ok? İt is probably only a rash. But I can assure you it is not herpes. Herpes is a local infection and doesn't grow that fast. There is only one thing you should worry about; if you are sexually active it could be a genitalian infection. But the symptomes you describe seems like you have a histaminic reaction to something. Sometimes a persons body can react to its partners proteins or there is a syndrome called Irritan Napkin Dermatitis. It could be that too. So seeing a doctor is the best thing to do but don't worry couse most of the rashs are curable. Every problem has a solution. By the way I'm a student in medic school. Get well soon. :)

Yes, there isn't any. Herpes is caused by a virus. Actually, there is little cure for viruses nowadays. The only thing that you can generally do in the case of a viral infection is strengthen the immune system and hope it fights it off. Not with Herpes, the immune system can't win against it. Thus you only get to treat the symptoms. Once you're infected, it stays with you for life. So don't get infected.
Personal experience. I have had genital herpes for over 5 years.

Do you wear tampons? Do you have a fever and diarrhea with the rash? If so, it sounds like symptoms of Toxic Shock Syndrome. This is caused by not removing tampons as often as you should. The bloodstream becomes toxic, caused by the discharge in the tampon.
Your doctor will get to the bottom of this, it is probably something minor, so don't worry. In the meantime, you can soak in a mild soap solution in the tub and I'd wear a pantie liner (change it very often). I hope I've helped.

Could it be the rash on your vulva, and the one on your arms and abdomen are 2 different rashes? It dosnt sound like herpes. Rashes are very hard to diagnose sometimes. Just in case it is communicable, keep your hands away from the rash so it dosnt spread to any other part of your body.

Doesn't sound like herpes at all. Herpes usually causes really nasty fluid filled blisters and would not generally be all over your body. Search on-line if you want to see pictures. Have you switched detergent or fabric softener lately? I wouldn't worry too much. Just try not to use too many scented or dyed products until your doctor visit.
