The Buffalo Sabres scored twice in 11 seconds tonight against Washington. Anyone know what the league record for shortest time between two goals?

I'm here, but cyrenaica is the stats guy......but the correct answer is 0:03 seconds

Jim Dowd scored at 19:44 of the 3rd period and Richard Park scored at 19:47 of the third period as Minnesota beat Chicago 4-2 on January 21, 2004.

My guess, Dowd's goal was scored on a goalie, and Park's goal was scored on an empty net with the Hawks having pulled their goalie for an extra attacker

I was at the game in which the Wild scored 2 goals in 3 seconds. The above person was exactly right. The Blackhawks had their goalie pulled and the second goal was right off the face off.

This is one record that will never be beat (maybe tied).

Nels Stewart (Jan. 3, 1931) and Deron Quint (Dec. 15, 1995) both at 4 seconds. Both of them had 2 goals in 4 seconds.
